big air comp

My last couple of days at the Coe this year involved one of the best jumps I've seen up there for many years. And somehow, I was talked into entering the competition too.....'Glencoe Highlander Endgame'.

Despite the ominous name we all had a great time on the huge kicker they had built and ended up with a surprising 2nd place despite Duncan's perhaps more elegant style in the air.

Some photos were posted here by Doug:

oops....happy new year

It's been a while since I blogged and not even since we made the news public......

Yep, Lore and myself will become parents some time this summer! Have had a couple of scans, the first of which we took a video of and stuck here:

The second is attached as a photo (look for the thumb-suck!) Everything's looking fine so far anyway and Lore's been keeping well though she's been much more tired than usual.

Other than this, not a lot of news. Currently back on the bench at SN&B messing about with some Perl and stuff.

tadpole era at an end

So, that's it! In a few weeks I'll no longer be based at Tadpole.

Yesterday, it was announced that Ordnance Survey had decided to cut funding to a large enough degree that all contractors (including myself) were being given notice.

Last day is on 8th December - more comments to followo no doubt!

the early bird...

Headed down to Tyninghame this morning for an early morning surf before work with Daniel. As well as the huge waves which gave us a bit of a pounding, we were treated to a fantastic sunrise.

And as the clock goes back this Saturday, we
should be able to fit in another morning like that!

on the tranny

Well this picture says it all. Actually went to this Halloween party as Countess Dracula but aquired this wig and ended up looking like Countess Alice Cooper :-)

como te llama llama?

Taken on recent trip to Blair Drummond. While Lore, Vero and Doug were trying to get the perfect photo elsewhere, I sneaked round to another llama and took this handheld one :-) A bit of a classic I reckon.

Next time "I'll pack a" better camera though!!
